Paradise - Teenage Hands Tied [MP3]

East London’s Paradise communicate a feeling of trying to break free from some kind of confinement, as if the pleasantly warm, lo-fi recordings are bottling ambition of a grander scale. The band strike an interesting balance between gentle, homespun electronics and washy guitar minimalism that hints at the grandiose but does so in an eerily subdued way, as exemplified in appetizing tasters Luella and Teenage Hands Tied, which you can download along with the rest of the EP from their bandcamp page.
