The artist formerly known as Bwana offers a driving, dancefloor-destined first taste of the LP...

Toronto-born, Berlin-based Nathan Micay (formerly known as Bwana) announces ‘Blue Spring’, his debut album coming in May via LuckyMe.

The LP explores prog, trance, techno, hardcore, jungle, IDM and ambient, and Micay has shared the album’s first single ‘The Party We Could Have’, which you can hear below.

A concept album, ‘Blue Spring’ explores a fantasy narrative about escaping the online world to re-discover life IRL, and special editions will come with a comic book illustrated by LuckyMe’s Dom Flannigan.

Micay recently turned in a gently bubbling rework of Bob Moses’ ‘Back Down’ – listen here.

Featuring a driving beat, ‘The Party We Could Have’ is a chugging rollercoaster of a dance track. Tune in below.

Nathan Micay’s ‘Blue Spring’ will be released by LuckyMe on May 3rd 2019.
