Premiere: Midnight Davis - In The Mood For Love

It was back in 2011 that Dummy was first alerted to the bruised beats of London producer Midnight Davis. His music is stained with longing; caught in missed connection limbo. But it's not all doom and gloom, there's a defiance there too. Happily proving the point, In The Mood For Love is his new missive: all roughed up techno, chilling synth whirs and distant, downbeat vocal. Then, out of nowhere, a Morricone-esque guitar strikes up and the stage is set. Listen on the left: it's one for the midnight hour, definitely.
