Manga Saint Hilare and Murkage Dave explore self-care on 'We Need to Look After Us'

The pair play a one-off live show at Pickle Factory later this month...

Closing the decade with an unexpected collaborative album, the cohesive musical chemistry of Manga Saint Hilare and Murkage Dave is reignited on ‘We Need to Look After Us’.

Having previously collaborated on ‘Niggas Need Each Other’ from last year’s ‘Murkage Dave Changed My Life’, and ‘Men Are Trash’ from Manga’s ‘Outsiders Live Forever’, the pair continue to unpack themes of self-care, masculinity and community on the new project.

The ten-track LP was executively produced by Manga, Murkage Dave and Cores; aiming to celebrate the duo’s heritage through the inclusion of Saint Lucian Creole within the set list, as well as incorporating the nation’s colours into the cover art.

‘We Need To Look After Us’ sees production from Tre Mission, Jon Phonics, Star Slinger, New Machine, Hologram Lo, Loubenski, Moshino Royale, Douvelle and Goldteeth.

The pair are playing a one-off live show at The Pickle Factory in Bethnal Green on December 16, where fans will be able to see them play some of their new material for the first time.
