Magic Mountain – Mae [stream]

Magic Mountain’s new track is an expansive, driving synth song that actually sings with grace and determination. His previous single, also for noted New York-based internet magazine The Pop Manifesto, had a similar fantastical element, but here, Uni of Chicago-graduate Harry Bornstein (Magic Mountain’s IRL name) has focussed on the floor, for an eternal 4am. But rather than the pent-up dourness soaking so much club music, the walls don’t close in, they collapse into dust.
