Laura Mvula - She (Shlohmo Remix)

There's been plenty of Laura Mvula remixes this year, and a select few of them have been pretty damn great. Step up Shlohmo, who's just shared a fresh take on She. Despite the many that have come before, it would still appear he's the first artist of note to go right in and chop 'n' screw up Mvula's rich tones. There's plenty to link its template to Shlohmo's wonderful output this year – particularly channelling Later through those snappy distorted keyboards – but this remix has a sense of strain and tension all of its own.
