Kehlani builds anticipation for her 'While We Wait' mixtape: Hear 'Butterfly'
Yesterday Kehlani dropped ‘Butterfly’, the second track from her forthcoming ‘While We Wait’ mixtape.
Also currently gearing up for motherhood, the R&B singer has promised two projects this year.
Featuring alongside the Ty Dolla $ign-featuring ‘Nights Like This‘, ‘Butterfly’ is a pared-back cut, which yesterday forced the Bay Area native to address what was presumably some criticism that it doesn’t sound like her old material.

She’s also shared the cover art and tracklist for the mixtape, which sees features from 6lack, Dom Kennedy and Musiq Soulchild.
