Kanye West - New Slaves (Brenmar edit)

Technically it’s only been out for a few hours now, but Kanye West’s ‘Yeezus’ is already seeing remixes pop up. Whilst this sort of “first!” attitude can get groansome, especially when it comes to daft trap/bootleg/juke/electro/mash-up edits, we’re always intrigued by whatever Brenmar cooks up given his consistency with reworks in the past. In the case of his version of New Slaves, things aren’t really changed around much, but the track is given a clubbier boost – lead in and lead out tracks are added, the tempo is slowed and all around it’s given a bit more “oomph” for club play. We can’t see you choosing this over Yeezy’s original for listening to at home, but it’s bound to be useful for the DJs out there.
