Kahn - Badman City (feat. Flowdan)

Bristolian and Punch Drunk-associate Kahn, who was back on icy form with Dread for Deep Medi Musik last year – has an EP due on Black Box next month. Featured on it is Badman City – all oozy bass and cavernous beats – and over the top Roll Deep legend Flowdan delivers the goods, as per usual. While the concoction of grime and murky, DMZ-style production could probably comfortably place it somewhere back in the mid-noughties, when it’s delivered with this level of conviction you’re left craving more of its screw-faced ilk.
