Justin Timberlake - Suit & Tie (Four Tet remix)

As if to squeeze yet more life out of Justin Timberlake’s comeback single, this weekend saw a leak of an alleged Suit & Tie remix package across Youtube. Following on from Julio Bashmore’s recent pop at the song, the package features reworks by four artists that seem to cater to every market possible: Dillon Francis, Aeroplane, Jump Smokers and, perhaps most interestingly, Four Tet. There’s not much information about the package online, so it’s hard to to verify its legitimacy, but the remixes certainly seem official: Four Tet’s version shies away from anything too conventional, opting instead for a vocal chop job over a stripped down, pounding house kick, which is exactly what you’d expect him to do with the source material.

Something that is definitely more verifiable: Justin performed with Jay-Z on Saturday Night Live last night. You can check out some of the videos of the show on Youtube.
