Jessie Ware has a new track due out soon. Imagine It Was Us was premiered on Annie Mac’s show last night and is a retrolicious pop song that sees Jessie playing Madonna circa ’83. There’s some serious boogie here: it’s great to hear her making out-and-out dance songs again. The track was produced by semi-frequent collaborator Julio Bashmore, possibly with assistance from Hyetal as the boogie-obsessed double duo Velour, and will appear on the expanded reissue of her debut album ‘Devotion’. Bashmore fans should check out his recent collaboration with Kowton.
