LA duo Inc. (formerly Teen Inc.) have signed to 4AD, and have an EP due out on the label on July 25th. The pair of brothers – Andrew and Daniel – make pop music in the fun, twitchy, rough tradition of Prince and 80s funk. For evidence, download an MP3 of the lead track from their forthcoming ‘3’ EP. Swear is a summery, buoyant pop jam, melodies strut, rhythms are steady and languid, the whole thing designed with lifting and soothing the spirit in mind.
