Hear two unreleased tracks by Gavin Russom

“This is my soundtrack for Wood Wood’s 2011 Summer runway show in Berlin. The collection was inspired by the American desert.” So says the description Soundtrack for Wood Wood Berlin Runway Show 2011, an 18-minute piece by Gavin Russom. Like the desert, Russom’s soundtrack is vast and expansive, initially seeming terrifying but which gradually reveals its beauty over time. It’s one of two tracks uploaded to Russom’s Soundcloud page earlier today – the second is named Heavenly Body and is something of a more straightforward club track (straightforward by his standards, anyway), built around a Steve “Silk” Hurley sample.
