With the release date of his debut album fast approaching, Headie One has shared its first single, ‘Breathing’.

The new track sees the North Londoner continue to etch out a sound he can call his own, momentarily steering away from his roots in drill to deliver a thumping rap cut, punctuated by an onslaught of pensive and gritty lyrics.

Providing the latest glimpse of what his new project ‘Edna’ has to offer, ‘Breathing’ follows on from previous singles ‘Ain’t It Different‘ featuring Stormzy and AJ Tracey, and his ‘Only You Freestyle‘ featuring Drake.

The new album drops on Friday October 9th and sees Headie blending elements of all his previous mixtapes into his most accomplished body of work to date.
