Expensive Looks live session

There’s a new guy who makes looped pop soul in town, and his name is Expensive Looks.. The work of New Yorker Alex Feld, his music appeals through its sunshine ambience and its expressive tones taken from 60s psyche pop and Chicago house’s arpeggiated synths, two examples of bedroom dreams projected huge. There’s already a 7” out on Group Tightener,, a really lovely Brooklyn-based label who need to be kept up with, and they’re sticking out EL’s full length in November.
