Eugene Deluxe and 33josiah enlist Bladee-collaborator Cartier God on 'Loops'

The pair's joint EP 'Dream Culture' drops at the end of this month

Brisbane-based alternative artists Eugene Deluxe and 33josiah follow up their previous single ‘Life’s Silly’ with a dreamy new collaboration featuring Bladee-collaborator Cartier God.

As someone who takes inspiration from experimental rap trailblazers Drain Gang, particularly Bladee, the addition of high-flying US star Cartier God comes as a huge boost for the Australian artist.

Mining the edges of cloud rap, hyperpop and 90s textures, the new single is the second instalment from the pair’s joint EP ‘Dream Culture’ out end of July and sees the three artists go back-to-back over an ethereal, woozy production.

Forthcoming project ‘Dream Culture’ is poised to continue the success of his last EP ‘Woke Up Feeling Like A Genetic Sequence’ and sees the young artist mould all things alternative into a cohesive and completely unique body of work. “My music forever a distorted mirror of my soul, an imaginary place just as real as reality,” says Eugene.

After a big 12 months in 2021, Deluxe is ready to rip up the rule book once again, inviting listeners into his self-produced electronic universe.
