Rapper, singer and songwriter ENNY drops her new single ‘Bernie Mac’ with multi-genre artist Odeal. In the past twelve months since her breakthrough with ‘Peng Black Girls’ that was remixed by Jorja Smith and performed by the pair on a Colors Show, ENNY has gone on to win two AIM Awards and receive three GRM Rated nominations. Her ability to switch between rap verses and singing makes her one of the most relevant and exciting artists today, and her new beat, produced by newcomer Tyegreen shows no sign of her slowing down.
Her fans include fans that include Skepta, Wretch 32, Martine Rose, Summer Walker, Didier Drogba and Jorja Smith to name just a few. The new single follows the landmark seven-track debut project ‘Under Twenty Five‘, and demonstrates her poignant storytelling via a serious sense of humour and gorgeous, soul-laden vocal. It comes with a gorgeous music video, out now.
Speaking on the new single, ENNY says “Odeal and I initially went to work on a completely different song but as soon as the producer played the beat we knew what it was – straight gas. It was nice for us to step out of our expected sounds, you don’t need to put yourself in a box.”
