Dean Blunt - NEED 2 LET U GO

Dean Blunt, one half of the most consistently exciting music duos Dean & Inga (formerly Hype Williams), has just dropped a new free composition on the cplnd Soundcloud – possibly a joint account between the two. Since Copeland has gone solo with her Rush Hour-released EP last year, Blunt has also subsequently been producing under his own name and released a couple of free mixtapes, as well as ‘A.M.Y.’ 12” under his Ramirez guise. Following the announcement of ‘FLAXEN’ back in the summer, we believe NEED 2 LET U GO might also be a track taken from his upcoming project – a self-released full-length free mixtape titled ‘The Narcissist III’. No further information or description is provided, just two and a half minutes of mediative beats and lethargic, freewheeling sounds, accompanied by Blunt’s sluggish vocals. Listen below.
