Daniel Ness and HNRO loop in Rome Fortune on 'Lick'
It's the first taste of their forthcoming 'Blank Slate' joint EP...
London-based producers Daniel Ness and HNRO have shared ‘Lick’, a new collaborative cut that taps Toro y Moi collaborator Rome Fortune.
‘Lick’ follows Daniel Ness’s ‘Shy’ EP on Activia Benz and HNRO’s ‘Dragonchild Static*’ project with Virgil Hawkins, and is the first track from their forthcoming ‘Blank Slate’ EP which drops on May 8th.
Out now via Ness’s label Merci Jitter, ‘Lick’ employs a dark boom-bap feel with crystalline melodies, punctuated by Fortune’s growling vocals.
