Cocoelusive delivers pain-laced R&B on 'LoveJam'

Nance Brito aka Cocoelusive channels her pain and struggles into her music.

“I had a lot of learning difficulties growing up,” the Portuguese Cape-Verdean, raised in London, explains. “My parents were a little old school and were not aware that this was even a thing.” Coping with ADD and dyslexia as well as social anxiety, Cocoelusive discovered healing within music.

We’ve been working with the singer-songwriter via our DMY Artists, and she featured on our ‘30 DMY Artists To Watch in 2021′ list.

Amid raw guitar strings, Cocoelusive filters her candid feelings of unluckiness in love through an R&B prism on new single ‘LoveJam’.
