Blood Diamonds - Grins [MP3]

Canada’s Blood Diamonds has a 7” single coming out on Transparent Records next month, and you can listen to and download and MP3 of one of the songs here. Grins is a statuesque example of bedroom production. Expressive towers of noise, not unlike Salem’s, warp themselves around odd rhythms and a sweetly naive cooing vocal. The overall effect one of scorching emotion, making listening to Grins rather like staring up at the summer sun for a little too long.
