Big Sean ft. Kendrick Lamar and Jay Electronica - Control

Kendrick Lamar has really gone off on one on Big Sean's Control – a track premiered on Funkmaster Flex's Hot 97 show last night. In an extended guest verse, the Compton rapper set the terms of engagement with his contemporaries, metaphorically promising nothing less than murder on rappers like Drake, A$AP Rocky, J Cole, Wale, Tyler, the Creator and even his track collaborators Jay Electronica and Big Sean. In brazenly setting down his claim in a perennial fan debate he quickly got computers putin' – with an early response from Pusha T and a series of memes, mostly involving Drake, circulating on Twitter. Some have gone as far as naming this the "verse of the year" but most have agreed that this is an important statement from an important rapper regardless. Stream the track for yourself below:
