bazio‘s consistent output this year has catapulted him from complete obscurity to being one of the most exciting indie artists coming out of Australia currently. Continuing his impressive run of form, following recent singles ‘crazy love’ and ‘OUTCAST’, bazio delivers his fifth track of 2022 ‘Mad’.

After revisiting his difficult high school years on the previous hip hop release ‘OUTCAST’, the up-and-coming artist is bringing back a much more positive vibe, returning to the themes of love and romance for his latest offering. The new single ‘Mad’ revolves around the idea of falling for someone so fast it becomes impossible to stop – something the 19-year-old believes is a relatable topic for a lot of people his age.

Combining melodic hooks with sharp and vibrant rap verses, bazio toasts a sound similar to artists such as Remi Wolf or Dominic Fike, maintaining the track’s high energy production from start to finish.

Despite still being in the early days of his music journey, the Melbourne-based artist has already been picking up some impressive playlist support, landing the cover of Spotify’s Fresh Finds AU & NZ with the new single.
