Bandshell - Conqueror Worm

Bandshell, the mutant techno producer who has released on Hessle Audio and Liberation Technology in the past, has just uploaded a new track to his Soundcloud page. We don’t want to simply link back to our old posts, but these both seem relevant: Tamara El Essawi definitely had it right when she said that Bandshell has “a good way with a title” – his new track is the excellently-named Conqueror Worm. And Evian Christ was not incorrect in saying that “it’s not even really dance music” when he recently introduced Bandshell on our pages. It’s certainly not dance music in the conventional sense, but beneath the crunchy weirdness of it all is a warped rhythm and an oddball groove. You can’t really put your finger on it, but it’s there.
