Mark E's 2020 Vision podcast

Birmingham’s Mark E plays his house steady and well-placed. His is a pared down swing of a party, tracks that go boing with an elastic energy and taut force. Releasing edits a-plenty – from Womack & Womack to Matthew Dear – starting up his own MERC label, and this year releasing the album ‘Stonebreaker’ on Spectral Sound, things seem to be going strong. He’s the latest to mix for 2020 Vision in their podcast series, and it’s a pretty solid showing of what he can do, a good hour’s work out in sprung housey deliberation.
