Flava D and Spooky live at Jamz

Grime label with a difference Butterz have started a laid-back club night called Jamz – a smaller offshoot of the landmark raves they’ve held at the now-closed Cable nightclub. Held monthly at The Alibi in Dalston, the second Jamz took place last weekend and the bill was headed by Flava D and Spooky with Serious One on hosting duties. Flava D has made a name for herself with immaculate vocal-led, bassline-focused dance and moves through sub-genres with ease whilst veteran Spooky is known for making livewire grime classics like Joy Ride and Spartan and has loads of great vinyl.
