Legendary DJ Carl Cox has opened proceedings in 2018 for BBC Radio 1 with it's first Essential Mix of the year.

Staying true to his eclectic nature, Cox warps and bends tracks from the likes of Dense & Pika, Eats Everything, Frankie Bones and more at will, like the masterful vibe supplier he has proven to be. The result is funky, infectious, and incredibly addictive.

Radio 1’s Essential Mix turns 25 this year, and host Pete Tong labelled Cox “one of the most legendary DJs in dance history.” Its hard to argue with a mix like this.
