Modular Records do a neatly titled, on point mix series called Modcast. Recent contributors include Oneohtrix Point Never (here), How To Dress Well (here) and Unknown Mortal Orchestra (here). This latest in the series is by Denver raver Pictureplane, who recently released his second album ‘Thee Physical’ (reviewed here). Writing on his blog that “it is one of my favorite mixes I have ever made”, it’s a 45-minute trip that takes in cosmic rave, peak-time fire, R&B bounce and cleansing noise.
