King Cannibal - Quietus mix

If you plan on doing something nice and wholesome tonight then stop reading now. This new Quietus mix from south London’s King Cannibal (aka Dylan Richards) is for those of you who plan on stomping around a cavernous dark club, both fearing and loving the hellish bass that pummels through you. Richards has been DJing and producing since the late 90s under a few names, with ZILLA being one of his other well-known ones. His King Cannibal project released Let The Night Roar on Ninja Tune in 2009; a skull-crushing dystopia blending dubstep, dancehall, techno, and horror soundtracks. From Tiefschwarz’s remix of Phuture to Marcel Dettmann this mix unleashes a monster of savage, beautiful techno and take-no-prisoners-house to sink your teeth into. If King Cannibal’s new music is anything like this mix, which The Quietus hints at, then I’m both extremely psyched and terrified to hear more.
