June seems to be a busy month for releases. Great offerings from SBTRKT, Africa Hitech, and Darling Farah to those who like dubby, bassy stuff. Dancefloor biggies are coming through from Germany’s MMM and Tensnake (try listening to them without dancing) while on the house tip Virgo Four’s previously unreleased track on Rush Hour’s recent installent, ‘Gene Hunt Presents – Chicago Dance Tracks’, is essentially beautiful. Check it out if you’re a fan of the real late 80s Chicago house sounds. Clams Casino and The-Dream take on the hip-hop and rap front, and lastly, don’t miss Denmark’s punk-noise band Iceage and London’s own multi-instrumentalist Elan Tamara, both are very special.
