Boisterous UK dance outfit Bondax have come a long way since their high school beginnings back in 2012. The Lancaster-hailing duo of George Townsend and Adam Kaye have spent the last decade evolving their wonky party anthems, steadily piecing together a wide-angle view of what makes a dance floor tick. Now seasoned veterans and label heads, having starting their very own imprint Justus, the boys have dived into the shimmering nocturnal world of Future Disco for their most recent releases. After recently appearing on the compilation album ‘Mirrorball Motel’, the boys have put together an exclusive Dummy mix bottling up the infectious energy of their live sets.
“For this mix we’ve decided to bring a slice of our recent sets,” say Bondax. “Just before the pandemic both of us decided we would focus on creating more dance floor centric music after exploring more of an eclectic mix of styles on our album. Then the world closed, dance floors across the world fell empty and we all found ourselves in an incredibly disconcerting place. The tracks we made felt irrelevant but after this last summer, and even the weeks before this mix, our re-connection with dancing has felt greater than ever. Hopefully this mix captures some of those feelings we’ve taken from the people that shared the dance floors and experienced new places with us over the last year. There’s also a few unreleased edits we made while on the road.”
