Dummy Mix 483 // The HeavyTrackerz

If you haven't heard of the HeavyTrackerz by name, you will have undoubtedly heard a number of their tracks. The brains behind some of grime's biggest songs in recent years, including Meridian Dan's 'German Whip' and Stormzy's 'Standard', the production duo are one of the more accomplished beatmakers currently in the game. Able to construct the most raucous of grime beats with ease, the HeavyTrackerz mean business with their art. Branching out on their own, the pair will release their debut album, 'Odyssey: A Musical Journey' on August 25 and they have enlisted the likes of JME, Ghetts, P Money, Big Narstie, Lethal Bizzle and more.

In their Dummy mix, they present themselves and their ranging musical influences, weaving together old school garage with new age grime and everything in between. The result is an endless barrage of speaker-booming textures and layers that will incite a head bop out of anyone. Speaking to Dummy about their mix, the HeavyTrackerz said: "We've decided to mix it up a bit, and play tracks you would normally hear on a HeavyTrackerz set: a mixture of garage grime, trap, EDM. That pretty much sums up our production style".

Listen to their mix below and pre-order their new album, 'Odyssey: A Musical Journey' here.
