Butterz with Champion and Darq E Freaker on Rinse FM

Butterz’s weekly Rinse FM show on Sunday nights is already highly recommended listening for grime fans and bedroom skankers everywhere, but last night’s edition is particularly special – with producers Champion and Darq E Freaker joining the gang for a pair of guest mixes. The two are simply some of the very best doing it at the moment, with Champion’s first foray into grime being the blistering Crystal Meth / Speed release last year and Darq E Freaker’s already trademark sound earning wider appreciation thanks to his collaboration Blueberry (Pills & Cocaine) with rapper Danny Brown. With great foundations to build on this year, both played typically high energy sets full of tracks you’d recognise and some very exciting new ones up for release in the coming year.
