18+'s Headphone Highlights show for RBMA Radio

18+ recently sat down on Red Bull Music Academy Radio to present an edition of the Headphone Highlights show.

Headphone Highlights, for those unaware, is a series that sees your favourite artists sit down to play and talk about the records they listen to on the road, on their iPods, in their car stereos, and so on. The show features both tiny producers and massive stars, with previous guests including everyone from Lafawndah to Daniel Avery to Charli XCX to London Grammar.

Here, 18+'s Justin and Samia talk about Egyptian music, The Streets, and how punk/ska band Sublime sound like The xx. They also play a lot of rap. The duo have a solid conceptual foundation to the music they make as 18+, but this is an interesting insight into some of their lesser talked about musical influences.
