20 must-see artists playing The Great Escape
For industry workers and curious fans, Brighton’s May blowout has risen from endearingly shonky (and rather unendearingly indie-schmindie-orientated) dash around town to a date rivalled only by SXSW and CMJ as the essential new music festival. With over 300 bands playing, there is, to be totally frank, a great deal of chaff with the wheat, but the wheat is pretty strong. Below are our list of tips, we hope that they’re useful.
