Tramlines add Basement Jaxx, Erol Alkan, Surgeon, Jimmy Edgar and more

Sheffield's Tramlines Festival – a one wristband, multi-venue festival taking place across the city from Friday July 24th to Sunday July 26th – had a promising early lineup announcement at the start of the month, with Blanck Mass, Walls, Kate Tempest, Roman Flügel and more named to play.

Turns out they've got more killer artists set to grace the city. Notably, Basement Jaxx have been announced as headliners. The UK dance pop mainstays released 'Junto', their seventh album, in August last year.

Erol Alkan will also play, bringing two new members of his Phantasy Sound label with him: the mysterious U and the equally mysterious Kamera. Elsewhere, you'll be able to catch British techno stalwart Surgeon, Detroit club player Jimmy Edgar, and Birmingham funk duo Ekkah.

Peep the full list of new names below, as well as the lineup as it stands so far.

Tickets cost a very reasonable £30 for the weekend. Recap on last year's edition of the festival.
