Puregroove's National Record Store Day

The shots below show customers, performers and members of staff at or near Puregroove last Saturday.

The big news of National Record Store Day was the unveiling of Blur’s limited 7”, but – commodity fetishism aside – the real excitement came, as ever, from the city’s most progressive record shop deciding to make a day of it.

Family Saturn, David Tattersall, Babeshadow, Silver Columns and Bombay Bicycle Club played live, while superlative DJs playing included Stopmakingme and Perc, as well as people involved in FACT magazine, the Lost In Paris blog and Puregroove record shop itself.
