Flickr photographer of the month: Sergey Kostromin
Every month we track down a great photographer from our Flickr group and this time, it’s the turn of Moscow resident Sergey Kostromin. Look through his photos of oOoOO, When Saints Go Machine, skateboarders, moshers and drunk Russian kids having the best time.
Where are you from?
I grew up in a small town in Tula region. This is Russia. Now I live in the capital, Moscow.
What did you study?
I studied Civil Engineering at university. I can be an engineer.
Why are you interested in photography?
I always wanted to stop for a moment what is happening around. And I can do it with the camera. This is my way of saying something to others.
What music inspires you at the moment?
I listen to different music. Recently, more radio. But I inspiring by synth music of 80th.
What’s next?
Soon I’m going to ride with the dudes on skateboards in the mountains. I think this is a very exciting trip. Try to do a lot of cool pictures. Stay tuned.
