Where did you grow up?

I grew up all over the Hampshire countryside, England.

Where are you studying?

I’m studying BA Fashion Photography at London College of Fashion

Why photography?

I still haven’t fully come up with the answer to this question. Over the years it’s developed into this addiction where I feel really worthless if I’m not making photos regularly. For a long time I’ve been experimenting with film and am constantly inspired by the medium and the effects capable with it.

Any exciting projects coming up for you?

I’ve got a long summer ahead of me, I recently bought a super 8 camera which I have been shooting on. I’m hoping to make a short film to be released on my 20th birthday to celebrate youth/the end of being a teenager I guess. Its just going to be a mash up of clips similar to my photos but I have a good feeling about it. I also run a flickr group/blog called This Will Destroy You with my friend Rory Cole. We’re currently planning our first printed zine to be published later on this year which will feature our favourite photographers from the group.

What music really inspires you at the moment?

I’ve been listening to the latest Bon Iver record non stop since he released it, can’t wait to see them in October. Alongside them, Fleet Foxes and Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros have been getting me hyped lately.
