Dimensions Festival share huge first batch of names for 2013

While last summer saw Outlook Festival celebrate its fifth year, this was greeted by the canny creation of brand new sister event, Dimensions. Rather than have the increasingly popular Outlook further grow from its 15,000 capacity, Dimensions was able to take the original’s all-out party vibes and move things towards the deeper and darker ends of bass music.

Dimensions will return to the Fort Punta site near Pula, Croatia from 5th September to 11th September 2013. Although there’s the promise of a few more names to come, the line-up is already looking pretty formidable – with a fraction under one hundred artists already confirmed on a first count. Some names jumping out include Detroit techno trailblazers Derrick May and Juan Atkins in his Model 500 guise, while Mala brings along his Cuba project, and the presence of Hype Williams and The Invisible offer diversity to the line-up. The UK underground is again well represented, with Ben UFO, Loefah and Benji B among those set to return for consecutive years.
