The third edition of Alpha-ville , London’s festival of post-digital culture, will take place from 22nd – 25th September this year, running parallel to the London Design Festival.

Musicians confirmed include Jon Hopkins, the classically trained electronic music producer who has partnered Brian Eno on several projects, and “Svarte Greiner“http://typerecords.com/artists/svarte-greiner, featuring Eric K. Skodvin of Deaf Center. Also flexing their post-digital muscles for the festival are Kangding Ray, Emptyset, Truss and Jacaszek.

The festival provides a space for creative minds to get creative, promising intense multimedia sets and flashes of experimental brilliance. If you can get your head round what post-digital culture is – or even if you can’t – it will be worth checking out.

Tickets for Alpha-ville 2011 will go on sale on 10th July.
