Colombian ex-pat DJ Florentino is “the most romantic of the romantics” who makes shit hot reggaeton cuts whilst also reigning supreme over the club-edits game. We featured his crystalline refix of Iamsu!’s Nothin Less on Dummy not so long ago, and can’t help but get into party mode when we cruise the rest of his Soundcloud page. His most recent cut, Domina, reminds us of that distant memory we refer to as 'summer'…a poolside banger for the hottest part of the day, when you should probably be reclining in the shade, but you're out in the thick of it getting way tooooo hot. Llamada brings the same calibre of heat, only it seems to be caught up in a tangled telephone wire with reggaeton on blast.

Ahead of his appearance at Dummy Presents: Swing Ting tomorrow night, we wanted to hark back to his days in Colombia and explore the sort of snacks Florentino enjoyed in his South American stomping grounds. A team effort from Florentino's family, the selections range from the humorously titled 'Bon Bon Bums', his mum's top-pick 'salpicon de fruta' (aka Colombian Iron Bru) and Florentino's grandfather's top premier source of liquid refreshment: the hangover inducing submarino lager cocktail.
