Darq E Freaker's 10 favourite tracks of 2013
As 2013 approaches its end (or at least as its release schedule starts to dry up), we're asking some of the artists and DJs close to Dummy's hearts to contribute lists of their favourite songs of the year, starting today with a fine playlist from British grime and rap producer Darq E Freaker.
Darq E Freaker's had a good year, with production credits for the likes of Gita, Danny Brown and Mickey Lightfood under his belt. For anybody that's familiar with Darq E Freaker's productions, it's maybe not a surprise that his list is dominated by some of the year's biggest US club rap bangers, but he's also included a couple of his personal triumphs in his own Psychosis and Handstand, a track from Danny Brown's much talked about second album 'Old' – if you'd worked on a track for Danny Brown's album, it'd probably be in your top 10 too.
