Watch: Forever - Invaders

Classic Coke, Forever, Prayer, 8Ball, Loosewomen, Nokia Boys, Kollaps, and designer Unslaved make up the label and collective, Grade 10. Established in Leicester, they're basically a tightly-knit bunch of personalities working towards common goal. Packed with a sense of true passion and enthusiasm paired up with whole lot of 'do-it-yourself', Grade 10's label arm has a raw, personal and sincere air to it. As Classic Coke put it in our interview with the crew last year, their output is down to “whatever feels right”.

After a flurry of successful releases including their collective compilation 'Now! That's What I Call Grade 10', the next 12" comes from Forever. Having already worked with the likes of Actress and Last Japan, he brings the fifth G10 release to the table, which features tracks Coarse and Invaders. Released on July 15th, it continues Grade 10’s genre-defying theme, with a B-side remix of Coarse from house icon Mr. G.

Following up the the release, Forever drops the video for Invaders, created by fellow crew member Classic Coke. A trippy, colourful journey through the five minute duration – it follows a shape-shifting blob who evolves into a walking cartoon character, striding in sync with the music to form a striking aesthetic that sits perfectly with Grade 10.

Watch the video above and expect a whole lot more from the Grade 10 boys.

'Coarse/Invaders' is out now on Grade 10 (buy). The Grade 10 crew play Outlook Festival, which takes place August 31st to September 4th, 2016 in Pula, Croatia (info).
