Watch a short film inspired by The Body's 'I Shall Die Here'
Released this week, The Body's fourth, Haxan Cloak-produced album 'I Shall Die Here' is a terrifyingly tense listen, and like much of Bobby Krlic's music, it's crying out for cinematic accompaniment.
'At The Mercy Of It All' is a nine-minute piece inspired and soundtracked by 'I Shall Die Here', cherrypicking some seering, atmospheric moments from across the album. Elegantly shot, it features a bedraggled, bearded man couped up in a cabin surrounded by frosty forest, who it becomes apparent may not have been up to much good.
For the RVNG nerds: director Jason Evans goes by the artist name Hey Convict! and is also half of Purple Brain, who shared a "psychoactive" and "transformational" mix on the NY label a few years back.
RVNG Intl released ‘I Shall Die Here’ on March 31st 2014.
