The xx – the London band whose first, elegant album was one fo the decade’s best – are returning with their second album, ‘Coexist’, on the second Monday of next month. To say anticipation is high is like calling Martin Scorsese a good director, but Jamie, Oliver and Romy’s hype-train has been as restrained as you would expect.
