The Caretaker - I Feel As If I Might Be Vanishing

The Caretaker (one of James Leyland Kirby’s many aliases) has just released a new music video for I Feel As If I Might Be Vanishing, a track from his latest ‘An Empty Bliss Beyond The World’ LP.

We all notice that James favours sombreness (take a look at the tracklist of his album), but let’s just focus on his music now. The elegiac piano chords and synthesised strings softly rise over those occasional statics and crackles, forming a deeply melancholic ambiance that is accompanied by a colourful video clip, which contrasts the faint semidarkness of James’s music landscape.
