The Acid - Basic Instinct

We premiered a video by The Acid last year at the time when the group could only be described as a "shady trio", and today bring you a second video by them which is not exactly illuminating, but at least offers some more details about them: we can tell you that the group is comprised of singer-songwriter RY X and DJ-producers Steve Nalepa and Adam Freeland who all have extensive musical experience and developed their minimalist electronic style at a chance studio session in LA. 

The video for Basic Instinct (from their sole, self-titled EP) is a slow and dramatic affair directed by RY X and filmmaker Dugan O'Neal, with the flowing movements of performance group WIFE set against the dark green Santa Monica Mountains for a striking abstract interpretation of the song.
