Teddy - Primate

Dalston-based band Teddy have a deft way with a catchy guitar line and a jaunty hook that makes you totally overlook their seedy lyrics – see "I'm rough baby, I shit every day and I think about dying" – and so it makes total sense that their debut video delves into the theme of repressed desires and dark humour. The film shows a city slicker shedding his suit to get dolled up for a night on the stage, wide-eyed under the harsh glow of the spotlight; watch it above.
