Slava - Werk

Slava has a new LP due out on Dan Lopatin’s impressive Software imprint next month and has given us a taste of what’s to come in the form of Werk. It’s a pretty frantic dance track that belies all genre descriptors (you can hear hints of vogue, footwork and deep house in under two minutes) which builds and builds before giving way to an M1 organ-assisted riff. The ace video was directed by Michael Intile and is as “now” as it comes without being done exclusively on an old CAD program – the digital age, CD-ROM era graphics mixed with ultra HD, corporate branding, Macs, old web, smooth marble effect veneers, etc. – it’s a perfect fit for Software’s own obsessions, really.

Software will release ‘Raw Solutions’ on April 23rd.
